Shah Rukh Khan, his son Aryan & Secretary Pooja Dadlani may be arrested by CBI under charges of giving bribe and abetting the offences of misuse of public machinery for ulterior purposes.

CBI woke up after Rashid Khan’s PIL before Bombay High Court to make him accused for giving bribe.

Three are going to be summoned by CBI for investigation.

Mumbai:- CBI came in action after filing of PIL by Rashid Khan Pathan in Bombay High Court for making Shah Rukh Khan and others as an accused for giving bribe. [PIL No. (St) 10580 of 2023]

CBI’s own FIR states that the bribe amount was given on behalf of Shah Rukh Khan to save Aryan Khan from the charges of handling drugs and other allied offences.

Giving bribe for misusing public machinery is also an offence under section 409, 109, 120(B), 34 of IPC where punishment is up to life imprisonment. As per section 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, the person giving bribe is liable to be punished for five years imprisonment.

The person committing or abating the offences of misuse and misappropriation of public machinery will also be liable for punishment up to life imprisonment.

Since CBI had not made Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan & Pooja Dadlani as accused, therefore Rashid Khan Pathan has filed a PIL in Bombay High Court for direction to CBI to add them as accused and to take action against the delinquent officers.

The said PIL was filed on 13.06.2023 and was likely to be listed on 20th June 2023. However for some reason matter was not listed on 20.06.2023.

Then on 21st June 2023, CBI officer told media that they have decided to summon Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan and Ms. Pooja Dadlani for interrogation.

There are very less chances of Shah Rukh Khan & others denying the charges because the investigation agency had the sound proofs of CCTV footages, Prabhakar Sail’s affidavit, NCB’s report and CBI’s own FIR.

Fabricating and giving false evidences will make the Shah Rukh Khan liable for additional prosecution under section 120 (B), 201, 192, 193, etc of IPC.
